VALENTINE'S
BOOK PICKED UP BY MAJOR PUBLISHER
(Nashville,
TN - March 11, 2004) - Penguin Publishing, the world's
second-largest publishing house, has bought the soft
cover rights for Phil Valentine's first book, Right
From The Heart: The ABC's of Reality in America.
Penguin will release Valentine's book in June under
their Berkley Books imprint, the same house that publishes
Tom Clancy's novels. Pre-orders are already being taken
on Amazon.com.
Originally released in hardcover in September 2003 by
Cumberland House Publishing, Right From The Heart
hit Amazon.com's Top 100 Bestseller list just two weeks
after its release. National television and radio personality,
Sean Hannity, from Fox News Channel's Hannity &
Colmes, wrote the foreword.
Right From The Heart outlines conservative
philosophy in America in alphabetical order, covering
all the hot-button issues like religion, taxes, welfare
reform, AIDS, guns and many others.
"This book has surpassed my wildest dreams,"
Valentine said. "It seems to have taken on a life
of its own. I get calls and e-mails from all over the
country from people this book has reached. They tell
me how useful it's been in helping them understand the
issues. I'm delighted that Penguin has seen fit to pick
it up."
Valentine is an award-winning talk show host based in
Nashville with 12 AIR (Achievement In Radio) awards
to his credit as well as 3 prestigious New York Festivals
awards, including a Gold World Medal for Best Talk
Show Host. He was also named by Talkers Magazine
as one of the 100 Most Influential Talk Show Hosts
in America.
Valentine is currently taking a hiatus from radio to
write his second book scheduled for release in March
2005.
