Valentine Picks Up Best Talk Award

(Nashville-October 10, 2003)  NewsRadio 1510WLAC afternoon talk show host, Phil Valentine, picked up 2 AIR Awards (Achievement In Radio) yesterday at the annual March of Dimes AIR Awards ceremony held in Nashville. The Phil Valentine Show won "Best Talk Show." Valentine and WLAC also won an AIR Award for "Best Community Event" for their "Let Freedom Ring" rally last February in which country music star Daryl Worley performed his then-new release "Have You Forgotten."

This brings Valentine's total AIR awards to 13 in Nashville and Philadelphia. He's also the recipient of the prestigious New York Festivals Gold World Medal for Best Talk Show Host.

Valentine is heard each weekday afternoon from 2PM - 6PM Central on Nashville's NewsRadio 1510WLAC.
